Sometime ago, I was boiling water in a large pot to cook some spaghetti for my family. The spaghetti was finally finished and I started to pick up the pot of boiling water to strain the spaghetti in the sink, into a collendar. While I started to head for the sink, the handle broke before I reached the sink. Holding the handle with one hand (which wasn’t easy) I grabbed the bottom of the pot holding a pot holder. To my surprise, not a drop of boiling water touched me. I didn’t spill any water either. I realized Jesus put His hand to help me. He helped me not only not to get burned but He saved the spaghetti also. Jesus was there for me. Jesus is always there when He is needed. I needed Him and He helped me. My hands and feet could have been scalded, but He saved me. I thank Him always. We should be aware that Jesus helps us in time of need. He loves us, and He shows His love for us. Thank you Jesus. Love Jesus, you’d be surprise what He can do for you.
Did you ever notice how you feel when you give a gift? How excited the person gets when they receive. It’s not a birthday. It’s not a holiday. But it’s a gift for you. Sometime you get a gift, just because. Often a customer would bring me a box of cookies or just a cup of coffee. The customer went out of her way to think of me and bring something to me. It delighted me and it made me feel extra good. The customer thought of me, instead of herself. God says, “it is more blessed to give than to receive”. Acts 20:35. Make someone feel good today. Give and it shall be given unto you. Luke 6:38. It doesn’t have to be monetary. Visiting an elderly or sick person is giving. Brightening someones day is giving. Give and it shall be given unto you. Give a special gift to someone. Make someones day. And you shall have a glorious day. God bless you.
Did you ever ask a friend to do you a favor?
Were you hurt or disappointed that the favor was not done for you?
Many people, even friends will hurt you, but not Jesus.
Jesus is always there for you. Jesus says, “ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14 He also repeats it, “ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full”. John 16:24.Man will always hurt you, but never Jesus. He loves you. He loves you so much, He was crucified for you,do you realize, He died for you and for me. I thank God, that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Why don’t you accept Him also. Accept Him, who died for you, Would your friends die for you?
I wonder sometimes, when I walk into a store, or even walk in the park, why no one smiles or greets you. When we go on vacation to another state, we always get a “hello” or “g’morning” and a smile. Getting greeted seems to cheer some people, and some put on a frown. Do you give a smile or are you a downer, or are you a scrooge? Say “hello” to someone, even someone you never saw before. Smile and look happy, then they will wonder what is wrong with you. In Luke 6:31 it says, “men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise” Make yourself happy and make someone else happy. You’ll be surprised at the outcome. You heard it said before, “make my day”.
Have a great day.God loves you and we love you.
Are you overcome by a busy schedule? Do you lack time for yourself, for your family, for your friends? Most of all, do you lack time with God? You need to spend time first with God. He wants you to take time, to talk to Him, to pray to Him, to communicate with Him. God is a jealous God, Joshua 24:19. He wants all your love and attention. You cannot worship
other things in life more than you worship God. For God says, love the Lord thy God, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37
He is a terrific God and He is a giving God. Be part of His family. Allow Him to give to you the abundant life here on earth, for He loves you so much, He even died for you. John 3:16
Have you ever wondered why God would make things easy for us.
He says in Mark 9:23 ” all things are possible to him that believeth”
So, if we believe in Jesus Christ all things are possible. Does that mean we can do anything? We can do anything and everything, if we believe in Jesus. We must believe He is Lord of our life. We must believe He is is our Savior, for He is the one that died on the cross for us and no one else. He is the one that suffered for us, and was raised from the dead. Do you know anyone else that did that for you and me? No one. Jesus is the only one that died and was resurrected. Why would someone go through all that suffering for us. Cause He loves us so much. He wants us in His family. Why not accept Him as your Savior now. I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of all my sins. Live within me. I give you my life, and I thank you for being my one and only God. I love you. Thank you Jesus.
This past week a dear friend passed on. I don’t really know if my friend was born again. I don’t really know if my friend is going to Heaven. I pray that it is so, but hard to tell. You don’t ask someone “are you born again”. You don’t ask, it just isn’t done. Now all I can do is pray for my friend, but is it too late?
I prayed for my friend before she passed, but still don’t know for sure. I cannot judge…I cannot say one way or the other. But you who are reading this, you have a choice. You can choose to put Jesus in your life…right now, before it is too late. You will never have a second chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to come into your life and forgive you. You have a choice…what will it be…Heaven or hell. You will never have a second chance later, so You decide now. He wants you to be part of His family. Be in His family. Jesus loves you, and He will forgive you, if you ask Him.
Hello…nice to see you again.
Take a step into a more personal relationship with God, and live a victorious life. Jesus says, all you need is faith, the size of a mustard seed to do it. Don’t throw away your chance to enjoy His victory and His joy. Have faith in Jesus, He will change your life. Confess Him as your Savior and your one and only God.
We all know that millions watch television in their homes. Television consumes them even late at night. What do they look for, what are they thirsty for? Many are depressed or have illnesses or they just sit searching for peace, they search for joy, they search for companionship. All we really need is the companionship and love of Jesus. Through Jesus we have the power of love, we have peace, we have understanding. But without Jesus, we have nothing. You tie His hands. He cannot do anything for you. He cannot do anything with you. You don’t belong to Him. When you become part of His family, He can do all things for you. He can give you everything. Accept Jesus into your heart and see the wonders of His love and understanding.
There is a verse in the Bible that has been recorded in more than 1100 languages according to the Gideon Bible.
Why is this verse so important? What is the verse? The important verse is in the book of John of the Bible, in chapter 3 verse 16. John 3:16.
Did you ever read it? Try reading it and see what effct it has in your life. It is a powerful verse and it is a true saying. God gave His Son to die for you and for me. Do we really, really know what that means? God sent someone to die on the cross to take away all sins from this world. All sins, all sickness, all pain, all disease. Why would God do that? Why would God sent His only Son to be crucified for us. To be tortured, to be ridiculed, to be spit on, whipped 39 times and lashed so hard his skin was torn from His body? Do you know why? Do we really, really know why? It is so hard to understand why, but we need to know why? Ask the why and try to understand. Read the book of John in the Bible and see what’s going on. Solve the mystery of why, but I will tell you more. I am not a scholar. I am not a diciple, but I do love God. I love Him very much. When I read the Word of God, He enlightens me to His feelings and I try to feel His pain of sending His only Son to the cross. Read the verse and feel it. Feel the meaning. Feel the pain this man Jesus went through. Why did He do it? Why did God allow His son to be tortured like that? Would you allow your child to be in His place. Ask yourself, why did God do this to His one and only Son?
