I wonder sometimes, when I walk into a store, or even walk in the park, why no one smiles or greets you. When we go on vacation to another state, we always get a “hello” or “g’morning” and a smile. Getting greeted seems to cheer some people, and some put on a frown. Do you give a smile or are you a downer, or are you a scrooge? Say “hello” to someone, even someone you never saw before. Smile and look happy, then they will wonder what is wrong with you. In Luke 6:31 it says, “men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise” Make yourself happy and make someone else happy. You’ll be surprised at the outcome. You heard it said before, “make my day”.
Have a great day.God loves you and we love you.
I must agree with you. I live in South Florida and I notice that people are a lot more friendly elsewhere. I went to Georgia recently and another guest at the restaurnt I was eating at greeted me while I was at my table waiting for my food. She was just on her way to her table. It was nice…something I don’t see as often down here in South Florida.
Sometimes people also need a nice hello and smile from you. When I go shopping and the sales person goes through the entire transaction and never cracks a smile, just before I leave I ask them if they will do me a favor, they always say “Yes” then I ask them to smile and they usually don’t just smile they give a little chuckle and I say “Have a blessed day”! I know it’s not much but at least they know someone cares.
