When I go shopping and the sales person goes through the entire transaction and never cracks a smile, just before I leave I ask them if they will do me a favor, they always say "Yes" then I ask them to smile and they usually don't just smile they give a little chuckle and I say "Have a blessed day"! I know it's not much but at least they know someone cares. Sometimes people also need a nice hello and smile from you. I live in South Florida and I notice that people are a lot more friendly elsewhere. I went to Georgia recently and another guest at the restaurnt I was eating at greeted me while I was at my table waiting for my food. She was just on her way to her table.
